Many Of Vick’s Dogs Are Doing Well!
I was soooo happy to read this Washington Post article about where many of Michael Vick’s dogs are now. According to the article, 49 of the pups were saved by rescue organizations or other families! Leo, a tan, muscular pit bull, visits cancer patients as a certified therapy dog in California. Hector, who bears deep scars on his chest and legs, was recently adopted and is about to start training for national flying disc competitions in Minnesota, the article says. How amazing is that?? Another pit named Gracie is a “couch potato” in Richmond, Va., who lives with cats and sleeps with four other dogs. This article seriously brought a tear to my eyes. Thank god for the people who rehabilitate these animals. Here’s the full story, there is an amazing audio photo gallery that you should also check out: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/07/06/ST2008070602429.html
